Weiss, Hale & Zahansky's Holly Wanegar Earns CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Designation

Weiss, Hale & Zahansky Strategic Wealth Advisors has announced that Associate Vice President, Wealth Manager Holly Wanegar has earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
The designation demonstrates a thorough understanding of the complex financial planning process, including retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, and risk management. It also requires meeting stringent standards for education, experience, and ethics established by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Those requirements include completion of financial planning coursework, 6,000 hours of experience in the financial planning process, a six-hour exam, and a commitment to adhere to high ethical and professional standards for the practice of financial planning, and to act as a fiduciary when providing financial advice, always putting the client’s best interests first.

Holly Wanegar joined Weiss, Hale & Zahansky Strategic Wealth Advisors in 2019, serving as director of the Client Service team. She was promoted to associate vice president, wealth manager in early 2023, making her part of the firm’s 5-member advisory team which sets the course for its Plan Well, Invest Well, Live Well strategy for clients.
Prior to joining WHZ, she had 7 years of experience working at other financial firms in Hartford, CT in various roles including Trust Administrative Officer and Relationship Manager for high-net-worth individuals.
