Daria J. Zalewska, CFP®
Daria Zalewska joined Weiss, Hale & Zahansky in January 2023. Daria is a Senior Associate, Paraplanner and assists advisors in the development, oversight, and management of high-net-worth client strategic financial plans. She collaborates with our advisory team to help our clients achieve their goals. In 2024, Daria became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®). Prior to joining WHZ, Daria was an investment analyst and paraplanner at a Maryland boutique financial planning firm.
Daria transitioned to the financial services industry in 2020 after serving in the United States Air Force. She retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after twenty years of service. She was stationed all over the world and deployed multiple times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Inherent Resolve. She has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, and Air Force Achievement Medal. Daria holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee and a certificate in Financial Planning from Saint Joseph’s University.
She is originally from Poland, but grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. Daria resides in central Florida with her husband, their two sons and cat. When she’s not at work, she enjoys all things outdoors – walking, jogging, swimming, and going to the beach. She is also a board member of her homeowner’s association and enjoys spending time with her family and friends trying out new restaurants and frequenting festivals and escape rooms.
