Kate Pitts

Kate Pitts is a Principal and Managing Partner at WHZ Strategic Wealth Advisors, where she leads Client Experience & Relationships. She is responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the WHZ experience reflects the firm's commitment to helping clients Live Well through meaningful relationships, personalized advice, and an unwavering focus on delivering the best client experience at every touchpoint.

As a member of the leadership team, Kate helps shape the firm's strategic direction, leadership development initiatives, and client experience strategy. She is passionate about aligning people, processes, and innovation to create better outcomes for clients, while fostering a collaborative culture that supports growth for both clients and team members.

Kate brings nearly 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining WHZ, she spent more than a decade with State Street Investment Management in Boston, where she held a variety of roles focused on some of the largest institutional client relationships, participant engagement, and financial wellness.

Beyond her work at WHZ, Kate is actively involved in the community and is passionate about helping organizations build stronger connections and create a positive impact. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Hale YMCA, the Pomfret Economic Planning & Development Commission, and is an active member of the Pomfret Proprietors.

A lifelong resident of northeastern Connecticut, Kate grew up in Pomfret and graduated from Woodstock Academy before earning her bachelor's degree in Marketing from Quinnipiac University. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and dog, along with golfing, snowboarding, and traveling.
